story

Once upon a time,
one fox deity was deified as the guardian of the MIZUCHI Family.
Its name is Coogen, a wise fox, who uses all kinds of magical power, but at the same time, is very puckish being.
The priest of the MIZUCHI Family was fed up with Coogen who repeats tricks too nasty to discard it as a joke. Thus the priest took seven days and seven nights to seal Coogen in a small shrine in the mountain behind the house.
As time has passed, Coogen was freed from the shrine to protect Toru TAKAGAMI, the descendant of the MIZUCHI Family, from bizarre spooks…but Coogen behaves frivolous far from the legendary deity. Ko, another guardian of the MIZUCHI Family, also joins with Coogen to protect Toru.

With the appearance of the two, Toru and Noboru, Toru’s older brother and the present master of the MIZUCHI Family, get involved in mysterious happenings one after another.
